1. Sindoor Lal Padhayo, Vaastav (1999): One of the popular Bollywood songs on Lord Ganesha is from Sanjay Dutt’s film Vaastav. Sindoor Lal Padhayo sung by Ravindra Sathe perfectly captures the spirit of the festival. Composed by Jatin-Lalit, this song is an absolute delight, the last minute will surely give you goosebumps. Sindoor Lal Chadyo deserves to be on the top of Ganesh Chaturthi playlist.

Morya Re, Don (2011): This song is a must for Ganpati celebrations. The song captures the true essence of the festivities in Mumbai with music, dance, devotion and huge crowd. Shah Rukh Khan dons a street-style look with a white shirt and a religious yellow dress tied around his forehead. Sung by Shankar Mahadevan, penned by Javed Akhtar and composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, this super-energetic song will never get old.

Deva Shree Ganesha, Agneepath (2012): Despite so many songs dedicated to the elephant-headed god, this track remains popular year after year. In this song sung in the powerful voice of Ajay Gogavale, actors Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra can be seen celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with great enthusiasm. Full of energy, colors and great music, this song is heart touching. The lyrics of the song are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The foot-tapping song includes Hrithik’s dance.

Shambhu Soot, ABCD Any Buddy Can Dance (2013): One cannot be forgotten when it comes to celebrating Lord Ganesha, Prabhudheva and the series ‘ABCD: Any Buddy Can Dance’. Sung by Shankar Mahadevan and Vishal Dadlani, the song features great dancing moves, groovy beats, energy and swag. As the red color floats in the festive air, the dancers immerse themselves in the celebration with zeal and devotion. The impressive lyrics are penned by Mayur Puri and the number is directed by Remo D’Souza.

6. Suno Ganpati Bappa Morya, Judwaa 2 (2017): One of the latest Bollywood Ganpati tracks to dance to, this fun song is sung by Amit Mishra. The song depicts the relationship of Varun Dhawan’s character Raja with his best friend and protector Ganpati Bappa. 

Danish Sabri has written the lyrics in urban Indian language. Varun’s signature twist moves made the song even more fun, the music is composed by Sajid Wajid.

Jaidev Jaidev Aarti (2022): This aarti is sung by Shreya Ghoshal, the sweetest singer of Bollywood. The recently released aarti is a perfect stotra to Lord Ganesha. The lyrics are from the traditional Jaidev Jaydev Aarti. Shreya’s voice sets the mood for Ganpati Bappa’s devotion and self-surrender.
