Odisha Sand Artist Creates Ganesha Idol At Puri Beach

Sudarshan has made a six feet high sand idol of Lord Ganesha with two elephants using sand laddus and with a Happy Ganesh Puja message. He shows two elephants in his idol praying for the environment.

Puri: On the eve of Ganesh Puja (Ganesh Chaturthi 2022), renowned sand artist Sudarshan Patnaik made a sand idol of Lord Ganesha using 3,425 sand laddoos at Puri beach in Odisha. Is. 

Sudarshan has made a six feet high sand idol of Lord Ganesha with two elephants using sand laddus and with a Happy Ganesh Puja message. He shows two elephants in his idol praying for the environment.

The sand artist said, every year we do something different in the sand. This year we are trying to give the message of saving our environment through our sculpture. 

Sudarshan, a two-time world champion and Padma awardee, always tries to spread awareness through his art. His sand art created for public awareness was appreciated by the United Nations Environment Program and the World Health Organization.

He has participated in more than 60 international sand art festivals and championships around the world and has won many awards for the country.
