Lucknow: On the occasion of Barah Rabi-ul-Awal, two big historical processions are taken out in Lucknow. Since morning, lakhs of people from the Muslim community take part in the procession-e-Madeh Sahaba and procession-e-Mohamdi on the streets of Lucknow. There will be a route diversion on the roads on Sunday by the police administration regarding the ‘Procession-e-Madeh Sahaba’, which is more than 6 km long.
DCP Traffic Rais Akhtar, the officer handling the traffic system in Lucknow, has appealed to the residents of Lucknow on Sunday to use alternate routes on many roads of old Lucknow. He said that the vehicular movement on the procession routes will be completely closed and the traffic will be resumed only after the procession leaves the area. DCP Traffic said that the traffic going towards Nakhas will be stopped and the traffic going towards Procession will be diverted and traffic will continue through other routes.
Two big processions will come out in Lucknow
On the occasion of Eid Milad Un Nabi, two big processions are taken out in the capital Lucknow. Procession e Mohammadi is taken out from Shahmina Shah. Then the procession is taken out through Jhande Wala Park at Madeh Sahaba Aminabad till Aishbagh Idgah. In which a large number of Muslims from all over the state participate and hundreds of Anujman also participates. The procession is taken out on its designated routes from 10 am to 4 pm.
Procession will take out after two years due to Corona
Along with all Teej festivals, the effect of corona virus was also felt on the twelve Rabi-ul-Awals. This historic procession will be taken out in Lucknow today after two years due to the Corona period. In these processions, people take their Anjuman flags to the Idgah. On this occasion, the police keep a close watch on the tight security arrangements and anti-social elements. The administration is also preparing to monitor the processions coming out of many sensitive areas with CCTV and drones.
Traffic system will be changed in 16 routes
– Traffic coming from Kamala Nehru Crossing (Medical College) will not be able to go from Mayfair Tiraha Victoria Street towards Nakhas Tiraha. This traffic will be able to go to its destination from the right Akbari Gate from Mayfair Tiraha or go to its destination via Chowk, Medical College.
– Any kind of traffic from Nakhas Tirahe will not be able to go towards Nadan Mahal Road, Tudiyaganj, but this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Akbari Gate, Medical College (Kamla Nehru) intersection.
Normal traffic will not be able to go from Tudiyaganj Tiraha towards Nakhas Tiraha, instead this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Girdhari Singh Inter College, Mansoor Nagar.
Normal traffic will not be able to go from Tudiyaganj Tiraha towards Haiderganj (Lalmadhav) Tiraha, but from there it will be able to turn back and go to its destination via Girdhari Singh Inter College, Mansoor Nagar.
Normal traffic will not go from Haiderganj Tiraha (Lal Madhav) towards Nakhas Tiraha or Aishbagh Idgah, but this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Bulaki Adda, Mill area.
The movement of normal traffic from Water Works Tiraha towards Aishbagh Idgah Tiraha will be restricted.
Normal traffic will not go towards Rakabganj bridge from Medical College intersection via Subhash Marg, but this traffic will be able to go to its destination via City Station Tiraha, Shahmina.
Normal traffic will not be able to go towards Rakabganj bridge from Post Office (Aminabad) Tiraha via Maulviganj, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Chhatri intersection via Aminabad, Nazirabad.
Normal traffic will not be able to go from Rakabganj bridge towards Aminabad, but this traffic will be able to go to its destination through Naka, Medical College.
– No traffic from Kaiserbagh Bus Stand, Guiyan Road Tiraha, Nazirabad Tiraha, and Aminabad Square will be able to come and go towards the flagged park, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Kaiserbagh Ashoklat, Shriram Road, Aminabad, City Station.
No vehicle will be able to go towards Aishbagh Idgah towards Aishbagh bridge, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination from under the bridge via Motinagar, Bhusamandi, Rajendra Nagar.
No traffic will be allowed from Bulaki Adda towards Haiderganj Tiraha. This traffic will be able to go from Bulaki Adda to its destination from Tikaitarai Talab, Mill Area, Eveready.
Traffic coming from Eveready Tirahe will not be able to go from Mill Area Tirahe to Bulaki Adda, Hyderganj Tirahe, but this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Mawaiya, Mill Area Tirahe to left Rajajipuram.
– No traffic from Rajendra Nagar intersection will be able to go towards Aishbagh Idgah, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Motinagar, Rajendra Nagar.
– No vehicle will be able to reach Aishbagh bridge, Idgah via Rajendra Nagar from Naka intersection, but this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Natha, Mawaiya.
From Naka intersection, no vehicle will be able to go towards Rakabganj bridge via Pandeyganj outpost, rather this traffic will be able to go to its destination via Basmandi intersection, Rajendra Nagar.
