Gudiya Kumari, daughter of Shivji Prasad Gupta, who lives near Durga Mandir at Sakrigali Station Chowk of Taljhari police station area, has been shot by son-in-law. Due to the firing on the wife, the bullet pierced her jaw and got stuck in the gills. Bleeding condition The woman was brought to the District Sadar Hospital by her relatives. Where the doctor has referred him to Malda in West Bengal after first aid. The condition of the woman is very critical.

Regarding this incident, the girl’s father Shivji Prasad Gupta told that in 2019 his daughter was married to CISF jawan Lal Bahadur Shah in Munger district of Bihar. It was further told that when he was posted at the airport in Kerala, he also took his wife along with him. He used to beat my daughter often. Dowry was being demanded, on the complaint of which he was sentenced to 3 months in jail. We and our daughter were being threatened with death from Sahibganj mandal jail itself.
The girl’s father further said that after being released from jail, my son-in-law three people on two bikes, including son-in-law Lal Bahadur Sah, brother-in-law Shishupal and brother Sanjay Sah reached home at 9:00 am on Sunday. The door of the house was opened, in which the elder son and younger son were hit with iron, in which they were badly injured. After this, she entered the house and fired at my daughter from the front. But incidentally, the bullet went through the girl’s jaw and went into the throat.
The father alleges that information was given about the possible incident in the city police station. But the police did not take it seriously. If action had been taken by the police on time, our daughter would not have been in this condition today. The father told that my daughter has a 2 year old boy.
