For the last 48 hours, there is heavy rain in many parts of Kumaon division. Life has been disrupted due to rain. Many roads are closed due to continuous debris on the mountainous roads. The highway is closed for 48 hours due to debris on Pithoragarh Ghat road Delhi band. At the same time, due to heavy rains, the land-Munsiyari road is closed in Hardia due to debris coming from the mountain late on Sunday.

Kalachhina-Ogla road is closed at Hachila. Dharchula-Pangala road is closed in Malghat. Due to incessant rains, the Pithoragarh police and district administration are unable to open the roads. Police and district administration are appealing to the people that debris is falling on the road, so people should not travel. In Nainital district, 8 state roads have been closed due to debris on the roads due to heavy rains, while 21 rural and internal roads have been completely closed. In Nainital district, Garjia, Betalghat, Kathgodam, Samalia Band, Amritpur-Babiad, Ramnagar-Bhandarpani-Betalghat, Bhujan-Betalghat main roads are closed due to Malba.
