“The boys are wrong”
Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav made a controversial statement at a rally organized in Moradabad, after which he also came under the target of women. There was also outrage among the public regarding his statement. Mulayam had said that giving death penalty in rape cases is wrong. “Boys are boys, mistakes are made”. There should be no hanging in rape cases. Boys make mistakes. The SP patron had said that sometimes the boys are also accused of being implicated. Boys make mistakes. Such laws need to be changed.
