On Sunday, the body of Chamba resident Satish Rawat was recovered by the rescue team and brought to Matli helipad. Here the relatives of Satish identified the dead body. The body was brought to Chamba at 4.45 pm on Sunday. On seeing the dead body, a huge crowd of people gathered. The relatives and relatives are in a bad condition.
Tehri: The body of mountaineer Satish Rawat (26), who was hit by an avalanche in Draupadi Ka Danda 2 of Uttarkashi, was recovered on Sunday. After that the body was brought from Draupadi’s danda to Matli helipad in the morning, where the family members identified the body. There was chaos as soon as the body reached Chamba. On Monday, the last rites of Satish Rawat will be performed at Koteshwar Ghat.
Save, on October 4, a 41-member team of Nehru Mountaineering Institute was going to Danda Peak of Draupadi in Uttarkashi for advanced course training. During this avalanche, 29 trainee climbers and trainers were killed. One of them was Shurveer Singh Rawat, son of Satish Rawat, a resident of Village Panchayat Thanyul of Gaja tehsil and presently resident of Block Road Chamba.
The younger sister is to be married after a month: It is being told that Satish Rawat’s sister is to be married after a month. For which the family members were busy in preparations. But after this incident, the happiness of the family has vanished. Satish Rawat also has a younger brother. Satish’s father Shoorveer Singh Rawat has a furniture shop in Chamba. The relatives told that the last rites will be performed at the ancestral Ghat Koteshwar Ghat today.
On Sunday, the bodies of 10 people were brought to Matli helipad by helicopter from Dokrani base camp, which were identified by their relatives. Panchnama and post-mortem of the dead bodies was done. Among these 10 dead bodies was also the body of Satish Rawat. Out of 29, 27 bodies have been taken out. Search is on for the two bodies.
