In Dholpur district, a case of death of a newly married woman under suspicious circumstances has come to light. Pehar side has accused of dowry death. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
Dholpur. A case of death of a newlywed has come to light on Saturday in Gopalpura village of Diholi police station area of the district. The relatives had admitted the newlyweds to the district hospital, but the doctors declared her dead after conducting a health examination.
The relatives had cited the fall from the roof to the doctors. But after the doctors found the matter suspicious, the incident was reported to the police.
Regarding the incident, the station in-charge Bidharam Ambesh said that Malti daughter Betal Singh, a resident of Agra district, was married 8 months ago with Laxmi Narayan alias Bhola of Gopalpura village.
On Friday evening, the newly married Malti’s husband took her to the district hospital, where he got the woman examined by doctors, informing about the woman falling from the roof. Where the doctors declared the woman dead and informed the police. On which the police called the woman’s father and called him to the spot.
The woman’s father, Betal Singh, who reached the district hospital on Saturday morning, filed a case against the people of the in-laws’ side for killing the woman by beating her because of dowry.
The station in-charge said that on the basis of the complaint given by the in-laws’ side, the police have formed a medical board after registering a case of murder.
The station in-charge said that to investigate the cause of death of the woman, a post-mortem has been conducted from the medical board, after the report of which it will be clear from the investigation of the cause of death. The police is investigating the matter.
