In Lucknow, a monkey’s child died during firing from an airgun, which created a ruckus in the village. But, the police reached the spot and somehow pacified the matter.
Lucknow: After the killing of a monkey’s child with an air gun in Kevali village of Nagaram police station area of the capital, people of two communities got furious. This caused outrage among the people of the village. As soon as the information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot and deployed a large number of police forces.
According to the SHO, Chhote Mian alias Munna, a resident of Nagaram town, often fires with airguns. Monkeys were jumping in the tree outside the house. During this, he used an air gun to drive away the monkeys. At the same time, a monkey’s child died due to being shot. Due to this, resentment spread among the people and they started a ruckus. But, somehow the Nagaram police pacified the people. Also, a case has been registered against the person who killed the monkey child with an air gun under the Cruelty to Animals Act. Further action is being taken. In view of the ruckus in the two communities, the police officials have deployed additional police force in the village.
Actually, in Mohanlalganj town, a monkey had run away a mechanic working on the house. In an attempt to save his life, the laborer jumped down from the three-storey roof, due to which he was injured. He had died in the hospital. Many such incidents are happening every day, due to which an atmosphere of fear was created in the minds of the people.
