Raisen. Irregularities have been revealed in the investigation of complaints made against the then Sarpanch-Secretary of Gram Panchayat Vater of Janpad Panchayat Silwani, after which the District Panchayat CEO recovered an amount of Rs. 1 lakh 80 thousand. Amount withdrawn without construction: According to the information, there is a government primary school in Salaiya and Frogi village of Village Panchayat Vater. An amount of Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand was approved between 2007 and 2010 for the construction of kitchen shed here. This amount was deposited in the account of the Gram Panchayat, but the then Sarpanch of the Panchayat, Ramesh Adivasi and the then Secretary Amar Singh did not get the kitchen shed constructed nor was the amount returned to the administration even after the withdrawal of the amount.

Misuse of government funds: Although many times letters were issued to the Gram Panchayat waiter for the construction of kitchen shed by the Janpad Panchayat, but the construction was not done. The case of misuse of government funds went up in the court of Chief Executive Officer and Prescribed Authority Officer, District Panchayat Raisen. During the investigation and investigation of the case, it was concluded that the government money has been misused by the then Sarpanch Ramesh Adivasi and Secretary Amar Singh. The amount of 1 lakh 80 thousand for the construction of kitchen shed is recoverable from both. The then sarpanch and secretary were given full opportunity to present their case, but they did not appear in the court. After which recovery orders have been issued.

Recovery orders issued: According to the order of the court, under section 66 (4) of the Panchayat Raj and Village Swaraj Act 1993, the appellants have been found guilty of financial irregularities in the construction work of public interest by misusing the amount of government sanctioned construction work. 

Ramesh Adivasi is disqualified for being a member of any Gram Panchayat, Gram Nirman Samiti, Village Development Committee for a period of 6 years from the date of the order issued to the then Sarpanch Gram Panchayat Vater. 

To recover the total recoverable amount of Rs 1 lakh 80 thousand in the case, the Tehsildar was ordered to recover an amount of Rs 90-90 thousand from the appellant then Sarpanch Ramesh Adivasi and Secretary Amar Singh Adivasi as per the provision of Land Revenue Code. Deposit the amount in the head of District Panchayat Raisen.
