Swati Maliwal’s House Vandalized, Attacker Arrested


The attacker who attacked the house of Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal has been caught. Swati Maliwal shared the information about the attack on the house by tweeting at around 10:30 am on Monday.

New Delhi: An attacker entered the house of Delhi Commission for Women Chairperson Swati Maliwal and attacked the vehicles kept in the house. Neither Swati Maliwal nor her mother was present when the attack took place. The attacker badly broke the car and tried to enter the house. She said that ‘do anything, I will not be afraid.’

The accused who attacked has been arrested by North Delhi Police. According to the police, he is a mental patient, he is being treated in Ihabas. The accused has been identified as Sachin, 30 years old. The accused used to work on contract as an electrician in DTC depot in Burari and lives with the family in Nathupura, Burari. Its treatment is going on in Ihbas for two months.

On Monday morning at 10.30 am, Delhi Commission for Women chairperson Swati Maliwal informed about the attack on her house in Civil Lines. During this, he shared photos of vandalism in cars parked outside the house. Swati Maliwal tweeted that an attacker entered her house and attacked her. According to Maliwal, his and his mother’s car was also badly damaged by the attacker. In this case, Arvind Kejriwal targeted LG Vinay Saxena. He said that the law and order situation in Delhi has become very bad in the last few months. Even the chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women is not safe. There are open murders. I hope that LG Sahib will also give some time to fix the law and order situation.

Let us tell you that the attack on Swati Maliwal’s house took place at a time when Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia had written a letter to the Lieutenant Governor raising questions on law and order. In a letter written to Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena on Sunday, Sisodia had said that the law and order situation in Delhi is very bad. Delhi has now become the capital of criminals. 

A few days ago, Swati Maliwal had alleged that she was receiving rape threats. Recently, Delhi Commission for Women chief Swati Maliwal wrote a letter to the Union Information and Broadcasting Minister against MeToo accused Sajid Khan that Sajid should be thrown out of Bigg Boss. 

After that Swati had informed by tweeting that after doing this she was being threatened with rape. Which is being investigated by the Cyber ​​Cell of Delhi Police.
