Video Related To Miranda House College Goes Viral, Some Youths Were Seen Climbing The Boundary Wall

A video of Delhi’s Miranda House College is becoming increasingly viral, in which some students were trying to enter the college campus inside the college campus during Diwali Mela festival. After this incident, questions are being raised on the security system continuously.

New Delhi:Some students were trying to enter the college campus inside by climbing a wall during the Diwali Mela celebrations at Miranda House College, Delhi University. 

A video of this incident has also gone viral on Twitter (social media). After the program in the college, questions are being raised on the security system. In the matter, clarification has been given by the college administration, the administration said that no untoward incident took place during this period. 

During the Diwali festival program at Miranda House College, students from different colleges of DU gathered in large numbers, there was a crowd in the college premises and the main entry gate was closed to make security arrangements. 

After which some boys were seen entering the college campus by climbing the tree supported by the wall of the college. This video of forcibly entering the college became increasingly viral. 

This message was also circulated on Twitter “After this what happened in college was terrible, Cat – calling groping, sexist sloganeering and more. There is no point in allowing people to enter such safe places to disturb the gender minority”.

However, in this case, it was said by tweeting by the college administration that on October 14, Diwali Mela festival program was kept at Miranda College. Due to the crowd in the college, people from outside tried to forcibly enter the college campus by climbing the wall. In the matter, DCP Sagar Singh Kalsi of Northern District told that this video went viral. 

The matter came to the notice of the police, after investigation it was found that there was a festive program of Diwali fair on 14 October at Miranda House College. Students from all colleges were allowed to attend this Diwali festival program, so there was a huge crowd. The college administration closed the main entry gate while handling the crowd, after which three to four students were trying to climb inside the wall to watch the Diwali fair. When he was stopped at the gate, he could not enter inside the college premises.

Let us tell you that a crowd of students from different colleges of Delhi gather to see such a program organized in the Girls College of Delhi University. shuts off. On the other hand, some students of Miranda House College allege that the boys of Ramjas College also started shouting slogans inside, which caused trouble to the girls. 

It was learned that some boys of Ramjas College in DU raised slogans saying “Ramjas’s slogan is Miranda College is ours.” In the year 2020 also, there has been a case of boys forcibly entering the girls’ college during the fest program in DU’s Gargi College, some boys forcibly tried to enter the Gargi College Fest.
