Dharamshala Film Festival: 80 Films From 32 Countries Will Be Screened, See The List Here


The 11th Dharamsala International Film Festival will be organized, in which 80 films from 32 countries will be screened. A large contingent of filmmakers will participate in DIFF to present the films.

Shimla: 80 films from 32 countries, including 21 feature stories and 43 short films, will be screened at the 11th Dharamsala International Film Festival (DIFF) to be held in Dharamsala next month. Highlights include the India premiere of Cannes Jury Prize winner and 2022 Oscar nominee, Joyland (Pakistan, 2022), Once Upon a Time in Calcutta (India, 2022) by Sam Sadiq.

Along with this Pokhar Ke Dunu Paar (India, 2022) by Aditya Vikram Sengupta presented by Anurag Kashyap by Parth Saurabh, 2022 Oscar nominee, Writing with Fire (India, 2021) by Rintu Thomas and Sushmit Sen and Fire in the Mountains by Ajitpal Singh ( India 2021). The India premiere of these acclaimed international features will also be held at DIFF 2022: Eternal Spring (Canada, 2022) by Jason Loftus.

Lullaby at Viaggio (Italy, 2022) by Gianfranco Rossi (Spain, 2022) Mother Lode by Matteo Tortone by Alauda Ruiz d’Aza (Italy, France, Switzerland, 2021), Navalny (US, 2022) by Daniel Rohr, Anisia Uzemann, Saul Neptune Frost (Rwanda, US, 2021) by Williams, They Carrie Death (Spain, Colombia, 2021) by Helena Giron and Samuel M. Delgado and Tukdam: Between the Worlds (Finland, Ireland, Estonia 2022) by Donag Coleman.

After going online for two years due to the pandemic, the 11th edition of the Dharamsala International Film Festival (DIFF) is back, showcasing the latest and best films from India and around the world. A large contingent of filmmakers will attend DIFF to present their films. The program will also host masterclasses and workshops. Once again the DIFF will be held at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA), McLeodganj.

Festival director Ritu Sarin said that we are very excited to announce our line up as soon as we come out after two years of the Kovid crisis. We have amazing new movies from India and around the world to choose from. It has been a really tough challenge for our selection team to watch so many great films and we have had many lengthy discussions and debates before deciding on the final schedule.
