Itanagar: Army’s Rudra helicopter crashed in Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh today. The accident site is not connected by road. Rescue team was sent. Detailed information about this accident is awaited. The PRO of the Defense Department gave this information. According to the official, the accident took place near Singing village, 25 km from Tuting headquarters in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. It was a military helicopter.

Upper Siang Superintendent of Police Jummar Basar told the agency over phone, “The accident site is not connected by road. A rescue team has been sent and all other details are awaited. Further details are awaited. Earlier this year on October 5, an Indian Army pilot was killed in a Cheetah helicopter crash near Tawang area of Arunachal Pradesh.
Army officials said, “The Cheetah helicopter, which was flying in forward areas near Tawang, crashed during a routine flight around 10:00 am. Both the pilots were taken to the nearest military hospital.
