Not only this, Gill also scored the first century of his T20 International career. Gill made the Indian team win by batting fast in the match. Responding to Hardik Pandya’s question, Gill said that ‘when you practice and get the result, it feels good. Very happy to have played a good innings for the team. Everyone has their own technique to hit sixes. Hardik bhai told me to play my natural game and I don’t need to do anything different. In this match, Indian bowlers bowled out New Zealand for 168 runs while performing brilliantly.
