Hamirpur : Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will reach home assembly constituency Nadaun on February 5 for the first time after taking charge of the state. During the 2-day tour, he will participate in various programs in Nadaun. In this connection, Chief Minister’s Political Advisor Sunil Sharma Bittu reviewed the preparations by holding a meeting with senior district officials, Block Congress officials, Nagar Panchayat and Panchayati Raj institutions at BDC Hall in Nadaun on Tuesday evening.
CM will address the public meeting: Sunil Sharma told that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh will probably be on the migration of Nadaun assembly constituency on 5th and 6th February. This will be his first visit to his assembly constituency after taking over as the chief minister. During this, he will meet the residents of the area and will also address the public meeting.
CM will be welcomed at many places: Sunil Sharma said that a large number of people will reach Jol Sappar, the entrance gate of Nadaun assembly constituency, to receive the Chief Minister. After Jol Sappad, people will also felicitate him at Rangas, Bhumpal, Dangi and many other places. Sunil Sharma urged the office bearers of the Block Congress to share the program with the Banak administration on their behalf so that the chief minister’s stay program can be finalised.
Preparations started for the tour: On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner Debashweta Banik said that the administration and all the departments have started preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit. He asked the departmental officers to prepare reports of developmental schemes and works related to their respective departments, so that all the information could be given to CM Sukhwinder Singh.
CM’s first visit to his home area: He also urged the cooperation of Congress officials, Panchayati Raj institutions and public representatives of Nagar Panchayat Nadaun to make the Chief Minister’s first visit a success.
