Masaurhi: Excise Department raid in Masaurhi is going on in full force in Masaurhi, Bihar . Excise police on liquor traders are seen in full action mode with the help of drones and squad dogs. Talking about the entire draft, 78 liquor zones have been identified and till now a total of 1600 people have been sent to jail. These days the Excise Police is in a mood of action for the people who make and sell liquor in the district.
,thousands of people behind bars: Superintendent of Product Department Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary said that action has been taken against 1600 people so far. In which 539 liquor makers and sellers have been sent to jail. 78 wine making places have been identified. Where alcohol is made on a large scale. Raids are being conducted every two days continuously and till now 1078 people who drink alcohol have been sent to jail. In which there are 11 alcoholics who have been sent again for the crime of drinking alcohol. There are 10 such alcoholics who have been sentenced for 1 year.
Initiative to make Liquor Free Zone: A checking zone has been made at Nadol of Draft which is the border of Patna. Big vehicles coming here are being checked. Excise police action is going on in the rural areas of Patna from 16 June 2022. Action is being taken against those who make and sell liquor in different areas of the draft. Talking about the draft, 78 places have been identified where liquor is made on a large scale. According to Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary, Superintendent of Excise Department, this action will continue till it becomes a liquor free zone.
