Girdawari Of Crops Damaged Due To Frost Starts In Haryana, Compensation Will Be Given Under The Insurance Scheme

Mustard crop has suffered a lot in Haryana due to extreme frost and cold. Girdawari process has started in Haryana to assess the damage. The Agriculture Minister has assured the farmers of compensation for the damaged crops.

Bhiwani: Girdawari has started in Haryana to assess the damage caused by excessive frost. Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister JP Dalal had given orders in this regard recently. For this, by issuing a letter, orders have been issued to the officials of the Revenue Department to record the loss assessment and send the report to the government. The Agriculture Minister said that the farmers of Haryana need not worry about the damaged crop.

He said that the government will make up for the loss of the damaged crop by giving compensation. Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister JP Dalal said that the state government and the insurance company will compensate for the loss of crops. Girdawari has started in Haryana. The damage caused to the crops will be assessed in Girdawari. He said that not only the loss in mustard crop would be compensated, but also the loss in horticulture crops due to frost would also be compensated.

The Agriculture Minister said that this compensation will be given under the Chief Minister Horticulture Insurance Scheme. For this, a portal will be opened soon, on which farmers will be able to register their losses. During this, Agriculture Minister JP Dalal told about the schemes being run by the government for the benefit of the farmers and common people of the state. He said that the farmers of the entire state are getting their benefits.
