Ramgarh : An accident happened on the Ramgarh-Bokaro main road on Wednesday. The young man has died in this accident. After the incident, angry villagers blocked the Ramgarh-Bokaro main road, which disrupted traffic. After getting the information about the road jam, the police administration and the zonal officer reached and pacified the villagers by convincing them. After this the villagers were removed from the road and the traffic was normalised.
According to the information received, a young man came under the grip of an unknown vehicle near Kothar jail turn. In this incident, the young man died on the spot. However, the identity of the youth has not been ascertained yet. After the incident, a crowd of local people gathered. People angry with the incident blocked the road against the administration. Due to the road jam, long queues of vehicles stood on both sides of the Ramgarh-Bokaro main road.
After getting information about the incident, Ramgarh police reached the spot. But the angry villagers were not ready to listen to the police. After this Ramgarh Zonal Officer Sudhir Kumar and SDPO Kishore Rajak reached the spot and explained to the villagers who were blocking the road. While assuring the local people, the Zonal Officer said that government help would be provided to the victim’s family. Along with this, action will be taken after holding the vehicle. After this people left the road.
After about 4 hours of high morale, the angry villagers got ready to end the jam. The villagers told that frequent accidents are happening near Jail Mod. But no concrete steps are being taken by the district administration and NHI to stop the accident. Let us tell you that due to the road jam, long queues of vehicles were standing for two to three kilometers on both sides of the road.
