Regarding the suicide in Seraikela Sadar Hospital, it is being told that on January 30, 55-year-old Mahavir Mardi was admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment on the complaint of weakness. Where he was being treated. Meanwhile, on Wednesday night, he gave his life in the hospital premises itself. When the staff of Sadar Hospital reached the campus on Thursday morning, they found the body lying on the ground. After which the police was informed about this whole matter.
It is said that his sister and uncle were accompanying the patient as attendants. But they could not come to know about this incident that happened late at night. He also got information about the whole matter in the morning itself. Here the police reached the spot, took the dead body in possession and sent it for postmortem. Although the reason for the suicide has not been clarified yet, the police have started investigating the whole matter. It is said that the family and his sister also slept with the deceased. But even he did not know when Mahavir got up in the night and went to the balcony.
What do civil surgeons say: Regarding this incident, civil surgeon Dr. Vijay Kumar said that 55-year-old Mahavir Mardi had a complaint of weakness. Those who were admitted to the mail ward of bed number 14. He used to drink a lot and came here in a critical condition. The civil surgeon told that for the last several days, Mahavir was feeling the urge to drink alcohol and he was repeatedly asking to be discharged from the hospital. The civil surgeon told that the doctor posted on night duty told that if the patient was not on the bed, Mahavir was searched. Finally, on Thursday morning, his dead body was found next to the campus itself. Regarding the death, the civil surgeon said that Mahiwar committed suicide by jumping from the second floor.
The accident happened here 2 years ago as well: Two years ago in Seraikela Sadar Hospital premises, another patient had also died at the same place. A patient undergoing treatment in Sadar Hospital had jumped from this balcony.
