New Delhi: Next year general election in 2024. In view of this, the government has laid special emphasis on the development of primitive tribes. During the budget presentation by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Rs 15,000 crore has been allocated for the development of tribals and minorities. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced this during the budget presentation in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday. They will be developed through Prime Minister’s PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups) Development Mission.
Prime Minister PVTG Development Mission has been launched for the socio-economic development of vulnerable groups in the society. 15 thousand crore rupees will be spent through various schemes in the next 3 years. Plans have been prepared for tribal health, drinking water supply, sanitation, basic infrastructure development. This will benefit 3.5 lakh tribal communities. The Finance Minister announced this during the Union Budget 2023 speech.
Targeting the elections in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Odisha and Jharkhand, the budget has given special attention to the development of tribals. Now India’s economy is progressing on the right track. The finance minister said that plans are being made to make it stronger. In the last 9 years, India’s economy has been the 5th largest economy in the country. Earlier it was at the 10th position, but now it is at the 5th position. The budget also aims at creating employment opportunities for the citizens of India.
